5th Annual Monte Carlo Night Announced

Nancy Cartwright has just announced that she will host the fifth annual Monte Carlo Night fundraiser. This event will benefit a number of charities based in Southern California. This year’s poker event will be held on October 2nd and is scheduled to begin at 4:30 pm. Individuals that are interested in attending can purchase tickets over the internet. All guests are asked to donate $150. For those planning on taking part in the poker tournament, the suggested donation is a double that amount, $300.

The event is expected to draw at least 500 guests and will take place at the “House that Bart built.” Everyone is asked to wear denim and diamonds this year. Amongst those charities that will benefit from this year’s Monte Carlo night are the Boys and Girls Club of West Valley, PALS Youth Center and the Devonshire Police Activities League Supporters. (PALS). Last year, the latter three charities received monies from the 4th annual Monte Carlo fundraiser.

Those interested in participating in this year’s event will have the opportunity to play No Limit Holdem with poker professionals such as Nancy and also a host of celebrities. Celebrities expected to take part in the most recent installation of the fundraiser include Camryn Manheim, Jose Conseco, Kirstie Alley, John Travolta, Kelly Preston, Lisa Stanley and Patrick Cassidey, amongst others.

Jerry Yang, the winner of the 2007 World Series of Poker, will co-host along with Mary Jones. Jones was that year’s winner in the female division.

Individuals looking to help a good cause and also play alongside top notch poker professionals, will be able to do exactly that in this year’s 5th Annual Monte Carlo Night fundraiser. Several WSOP bracelet winners will be participating. Annie Duke, Jamie Gold, Men Nguyen, Jennifer Harmen and Todd Brunson are just a small sample of past winners who will be in attendance.
