Arguably the coolest middle of America city, Denver Colorado it sitting pretty a mile high. That’s right, Denver is where you can find the highest chip count in the USA. The Denver Poker Tour origins date back to 2003, right at a time simply known as the ‘Moneymaker Effect‘ or the poker revolution.
There are tons of places to play in Denver and for that we can thank Casino Masters USA. They began this circuit of bar poker tournaments via the United Bar Poker Tour and since inception, the Denver Poker Tour has operated and staffed over 20,000 individual poker tournaments with an average attendance of over 50 players. Currently, you can play in excess of ten different bars, restaurants, and establishments every day of the week! They are hosted all over town, it’s free to play and prizes are awarded to the top finishing competitors. I’ve been up in Denver and can say the Denver Poker Tour and the city of Denver is an award winning combination people and poker. They remind me a little of the Atlanta Bar Games circuit custom poker tables has attended in the past, but with the shear amount of daily games Denver Poker Tour is second to none.
