The city of Houston is the fourth largest in the United States. When the 2008 census was taken, Houston accounted for 2.2 million people in a 600 square mile area. That is the most of any city in the state of Texas The entire area around Houston, known as the Houston-Sugar Land-Boytown area hosts over 5.7 million people. The city was founded back in 1836 by brothers Augustus Chapman Allen and John Kirby Allen. The city is best known for their energy, manufacturing, aeronautics, transportation and health care.

His first major win came in 2002 when he finished 33rd at the World Series of Poker. Since then Grimes has been a force in many of the high stakes tournaments. Sam Farha did not grow up in Houston, as he was born in Lebanon, but he currently calls Houston home. Farha is best known for going heads up with Chris Moneymaker at the main event in the 2003 World Series of Poker.
