Custom Poker Tables Spotlight: Reno, NV, USA

Custom Poker Tables - Biggest Little Blog Reno
We all love poker and I love adventure and small town America, and custom poker tables does not want to do any unjustice to one of our favorites. But frankly, 60% of Reno has fallen off the face of the earth and the remaining has been basically boarded up. Let me clarify, the Indian Casinos of California have robbed 60% of Reno’s gambling community and I say take advantage of the good rates and extra space. Maybe they need a poker series sponsored by Custom Poker Tables and some Monster Trucks to bring some life back into “the biggest little city in the world”.

Back to the poker, my estimates see an eventual resurgance in life in Reno and as a believer in fate Reno will pull through this economic downfall. I mean you can still in fact fly direct from San Diego, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City and many other larger more prosperous cities, which is promising for Reno. But when you come her to play the poker tables, we have all you need to know right here. Stick to Reno strip, and stick to the casinos – each has a poker room and each has it’s lure and charm. We have 6 casinos to check out and we’ll run through them all in no particular order.

Atlantis Casino Resort – 5 custom poker tables
They call their new new custom poker table room “so beautiful, you might actually look up from your cards.” The new Atlantis Poker Room offers tableside dining, a self-service beverage bar, and for players who can’t miss a minute of action, new flat-screen TV’s are visible from every custom poker table.

Circus Circus Hotel Casino – 10 custom poker tables
Circus Circus offers daily tournaments and the “Biggest Little Poker Tournament in Reno,” a Texas Hold’em tournament, is great for beginners (or ringers) and is held seven days a week with a buy-in of only $18. There also is a “No Limit Hold’em Tournament” held Tuesdays and Thursdays with a $20 buy-in, or the “Biggest Little No Limit Game” with a minimum buy-in of $50. I know cheesy names for poker tournaments, but hey why beat the table when you can beat all 10 right?

Club Cal Neva Hotel Casino – 7 custom poker tables
One of the original still alive establishments. This place is a bit back to the future, but we didn’t come here for aesthetics. There is a core group of locals playing regularly so be aware of the guy who knows too many people.

El Dorado Hotel Casino – 6 custom poker tables
Nothing spectacular here but every Wednesday and Thursday, High Hand every two hours will receives $100 dollars. The Poker Room Manager, Margie Heintz was the first Woman in history to deal the World Series of Poker.

Peppermill Hotel Casino Reno – 8 custom poker tables
The Peppermill Poker Room has been named one of the top 25 in the USA by Poker Digest, and probably one of our top picks. Pretty slick casino and has Las Vegas feel. Variety of weekly tournaments ranging in poker game tables.

Reno Hilton – 7 custom poker tables
Sold and renamed to Grand Sierra Resort, the Hilton family got out when the getting was not good. Probably a good move and this place did nothing for me. They offer $2 in comps for every hour of live play but c’mon shouldn’t we be getting that anyway? Maybe the rooms are better than the casino.

Custom poker tables research continues to help you find the poker table that fits your location. Look for our updates on Atlantic City, Amsterdam, Germany, Colorado, Puerto Rico, and more…
