Certainly one of the more prolific rounder stories, from illegal street gambling to poker stardom, is Kid Poker himself. Poker’s version of Eminem, Daniel Negreanu, was born July 26, 1974 in Toronto, the son of Romanian immigrants. To date, the Canadian has played his way to four World Series of Poker bracelets and two World Poker Tour Championship titles. With poker table tournament winnings exceeding $11,200,000 Negreanu is second on the all-time poker money list.
He resembles Ed Norton and has a cold hard glare. His arrogance and razor sharp, witty bantor keeps the table in check while he calmly takes down big pot after big pot. Negreanu’s mind is excellent in statistics and playing against him is like being on the site of an iRobot film set; simply automatic. He loves to talk but plays like a robot. This calculated combination is his winning solution. We should all learn from him and try this technique when you bring the green to your next poker game felt. You’ll walk away a winner.

Read more about Negreano, on Wikipedia and PokerStars. He even writes his very own blog, often while playing online poker and describing his bad beats, all at the same time.

I like the guy. Smart and powerful. He don’t lose.
