Whether or not poker is a game of skill has been an ongoing debate. Proponents for legalizing online gambling contend that it is skill, while opponents of such legalization like to claim that it isn’t. This debate has become more then a private or in-house one. Court cases have hinged on whether or not a judge determines based on the evidence whether the game of poker requires skill or simply luck. My personal opinion is that poker is a game of skill.
